Ahliss is crossing the Great Desert on her way to the great city of Bayt Lahm, with goals of entering the city’s deadly arena and attaining infamy across the desert.



On the way there, she meets an old man who hires her as protection in exchange for supplies for the last bit of her journey.



Things quickly take a turn for the worse when Ahliss’s short temper sees her in an endless bout of trouble whilst having to contend with the dark secret of the old man and his village, it’s a wonder if Ahliss will even be able to carry on with her journey to Bayt Lahm.



Deeds of Violence is an epic fantasy series that stars a wide array of complex characters with cryptic past and far more cryptic futures making complex decisions, sometimes not the right ones, in a world where Smiths are revered as gods and their weapons can defy the laws of nature itself, being a hero is the world’s deadliest job. But being a hero is exactly what Ahliss sets out to be.



Episode #1: Death in Judgment is the first entry in this series. It works as a standalone entry into this world (is a complete story with an affirmative end) and is 8K words long while leaving the door open to continue engrossing yourself with this world.
